You’ll need
- anything from around the house
- sand
- bucket
- trays or boards
- a coin
- face paint
- lemon wedge
- dressing-up clothes
- stones or plastic cups
- toilet rolls
- horn or whistle
Prepare beforehand
- Transfer the sandcastle from plinth A to plinth B: Build a sandcastle on a tray or board for each player, and set out a second tray as the destination.
- Do one of these five things: Write the five choices on a card.
- Leave no stone unturned: Scatter lots of stones (or upturned cups) over the lawn.
- Stack the toilet rolls into a tower: Set out a row of building spots with toilet rolls, one per player plus spares.
Changes for playing at home
