Play this episode at home
All 5 tasks can be played at home, about 36 minutes of play.
You’ll need
- anything from around the house
- clue items
- toy caterpillar (a sock or pipe cleaner)
- two household items
- a leaf
- loo roll
- bowl of water
- paper plate
Prepare beforehand
- Investigate the sleeping man: A grown-up volunteer lies ‘asleep’ with clues on or around them: a name badge, a receipt, a work lanyard, a passport cover.
- Throw wet loo roll at Mike’s moustache: Draw a moustache on a paper plate or sheet and pin it up.
Changes for playing at home
- Investigate the sleeping man: A willing volunteer pretends to sleep and has planted clues; players must not wake them.
- Safely relocate the caterpillar: Use a toy caterpillar rather than a live one; the toaster and microwave timers can be a kitchen timer.
- Throw wet loo roll at Mike’s moustache: Throw at a moustache on a paper plate, or a willing judge in a stick-on moustache.
